A Word from the President - Spring 2015

Hello dear members,

(Translation by Johanne Boucher, trad.A., Montréal)

It seems the sun is lazy this spring and is still not warming the air as we expect, but we are ready to welcome the summer which will help us forget the harsh winter we’ve experienced this year.

As Mother Nature is springing into a new life, your Association is also embracing change. This new issue of Les Robitailleries is one more step for us in the digital world.

We understand that this change may not please everyone, but we hope nonetheless that this experience will prove successful. This is a work in progress and we will make the necessary adjustments based on the comments we will receive from you. The cost for the production and mailing of the newsletter kept increasing each year and this is why we had to turn to an electronic format. Furthermore, the means of communication are evolving and we had to find ways to reach a wider public that is fond of modern communications tools. We hope that this initiative will bring tangible results and we thank you for your continued support.

I take this opportunity to invite you to our Annual General Meeting to be held on Sunday, June 14, 2015. The meeting will be held in the Beauce region, on an exceptionally beautiful and historic site, close to the Chaudière River. The Beaucerons are famous for their hospitality and we are sure to receive a warm welcome. Please read on for more details. You can register right away and plan to bring other members with you.

I look forward to meeting many of you on June 14!

Marc Robitaille, your president 2014-2015
